It's time for EVERY angler to step up!

CSPA begins massive membership drive, goal of 3,000 private members, 50 clubs, 5 major benefactors

November 14, 2008 -- Faced with an unending assault on California's fisheries including the "striper trial", the threat of a peripheral canal, attempted water grabs by various agencies, excessive pollution sources and numerous FERC relicensing permit hearings as well as issues such as bay dredging spoils, Delta Vision, the collapse of the salmon industry and the hobbling of DFG by both administration and budget constraints, CSPA is "going public" in the need to raise the funds necessary to support its efforts for California's anglers in the protection of the state's fisheries and waters.

As part of the membership drive, CSPA is providing  premiums as an incentive for membership at various levels. The premiums, hats, shirts, and fleece jackets are embroidered with "CSPA, California Sportfishing Protection Alliance" so that members can wear them proudly, showing their commitment to protecting, preserving and enhancing California's fisheries.

Memberships begin at $30. and extend through $1,000 at the private level and continue on to $10,000 or more at the benefactor level.
