CSPA asks Regional Board to reconsider wastewater permitting of small food processors and wineries
August 29, 2009 -- In a letter dated August 28, 2009, CSPA Executive Director, Bill Jennings asked the Central Valley Regional Quality Control Board to reconsider issuing waivers to small food processors and wineries. CSPA believes that the discharges could be a threat to groundwater and that individual discharge permits should be required.
