Groups to March on PacifiCorp on September 18th to Demand Removal of Klamath Dams : Press Conference will feature leaders from Tribal and Commercial Fishing Communities

September 15, 2008--

WHAT: A Day of Action Against PacifiCorp sponsored by a coalition of Tribes, conservation groups, fishermen and ratepayer advocates. The group will march from Holladay Park to PacifiCorp’s headquarters to demand the removal of the lower four Klamath dams.

WHERE: The group will assemble at Holladay Park (the corner of Multnomah and NE 11th Ave. , Portland , OR ) and at noon march to PacifiCorp headquarters at 825 NE Multnomah, a few blocks away.

WHEN: Thursday September 18, 2008. March leaves the park at noon.

A press conference will be held in front of PacifiCorp’s office at 1 p.m.
